Three-Stage Advanced Filter Technology:
* Mesh Pre-Filter – washable micron mesh filters 99.9% of particulate matter larger than 0.28mm improving the lifespan of the other two filters.
* Activated Carbon Filter – granulated carbon formula that effectively reduces smoke, odor and harmful off gassing VOCs including Formaldehyde and Benzene.
* True HEPA Filter – removes 99.97 percent of particulates and allergens including dust, smoke, pet dander, mold spores and pollen less than 0.3 microns.

I have a condition where I don’t have any sense of smell, so keeping my home smelling nice has always been a challenge for me. I purchased the Green Air Encore to cover my living area, probably a 600 square foot area that is the living room, kitchen and bathroom to help reduce odors in the home from cooking, etc.
I had no problems installing the filters and turning on the unit. However I did encounter a small problem setting the sensitivity level of the air quality sensor, which was handled by Jonathan on a Sunday evening! How is that for service! In my case, the plug had to be reinserted while holding the air quality button without waiting the few minutes as was mentioned in the manual. Once this was sorted everything works great!
I let the unit run on automatic mode for 3 days now and had family comment on if my home still had an odor. To my relief, no one could tell I made red clam sauce and pasta just 4 hours prior without running the vent above the stove. And no one could tell the next day that I made chicken bbq pizza in the oven. On the highest sensitivity setting the unit was able to detect what possibly was methane in the air caused by my poor food choices and it would gently put the fan up a notch for a few minutes while the lights went purple indicating less than ideal air quality. The fan would slow down and the light went blue indicating very good air quality afterwards.
The unit is extremely quiet, even when only a few feet from my favorite chair unless it is in the highest fan mode. I cleaned my home vigorously before getting the unit to help with air quality, my sweeper got to the point that it was not picking up very much after multiple runs. So after just two days with this air purifier running, I have noticed much more dust collected when sweeping. I’m guessing this is the ion cluster feature dropping particles out of the air to help make cleaning more effective. So far I’m very happy with this air purifier and glad to see the great customer support in case something should go wrong.
